Professor Dr Arist von Schlippe continues its series „“Conflicts and Conflict Management’ with the second part „Being ‚first‘ – on the merry-go-round of outrage!“ continues. The discussion is moderated by Prof Dr Nadine Kammerlander (WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management).
Why do conflicts keep escalating, even though both sides are convinced they are in the right? It often starts with a sense of injustice, which can give rise to indignation and create its own dynamic of conflict. The key question is how such spirals of escalation can be recognised and deliberately halted.
