Behavioral and Cultural Aspects of German Family Firms Internationalizing to China and India
Language, culture and network: only those who take such specific circumstances into account will become established in foreign markets. For that purpose, economic efficiency is only one of several factors facilitating successful market entry. Based on the analysis of 31 case studies, the authors outline the framework conditions that must be considered for successful internationalisation. They also illustrate the prevailing market characteristics that may be of particular benefit to family businesses.
