WIFU meets Anthropology
30. September 2019
In order to further develop the anthropological perspective on family businesses and business families, the WIFU organises the symposium “WIFU meets Anthropology” on November 14, 2019 at the Witten/Herdecke University. Keynotes will be given by anthropologists Prof. Dr. Peter Finke and Prof. Dr. Erdmute Alber on their respective findings from economic anthropology and from the anthropology of kinship. In addition to the lectures, there will be a panel discussion on the relevance of family businesses and business families with other disciplines, in which both anthropologists, sociologists and members of business families participate.
The ‘WIFU Meets…’ symposium belongs to a series of events, which WIFU has been hosting since 2017. In the symposium, each event is dedicated to a WIFU research discipline which is not part of classical business administration.
