Dr Britta Boyd has been a senior researcher at Witten/Herdecke University since November 2020 and supports the research project ‘Narratives of Survival: Resilience Stories in Family Businesses and Business Families’ at the WIFU. She is also an adjunct professor at the Beijing Institute of Technology. She finished her dissertation, ‘Sustainable Management in Family Business’ in 2007 at the University of Flensburg. She has published articles in international journals and books in the areas of family businesses, entrepreneurship, international marketing and sustainable management. In addition to various expert activities for journals and conferences, she was a board member of the research network IFERA for six years. From 2007 to 2020, she researched and taught at the Syddansk Universitet in the subjects of international marketing, business marketing, corporate social responsibility and entrepreneurship.
