Since September 2022, Dr Matthias Breier has been supporting the WIFU research team as a senior research fellow, focusing on ‘Business Model Innovation in Family Firms’. Parallel to his work at the WIFU, he is the head of the ESG product group at FE fundinfo, the world’s leading provider of data and technology for investment funds. In this role, Dr Breier sets the product strategy and execution plans for ESG product solutions for asset managers and advisory clients. Prior to joining FE fundinfo, he worked as an ESG product manager at CSSP, a fund and portfolio ESG reporting company based in Liechtenstein. Dr Breier holds a PhD in business model innovation from the University of Lappeenranta, Finland.
