Prof. Rainer Kirchdörfer has been an honorary professor at the WIFU’s Department of Family Business Law for a number of years and also a member of the board of trustees of the WIFU Foundation since 2009. He is a partner at the law firm Hennerkes, Kirchdörfer & Lorz in Stuttgart and a board member of the Family Businesses Foundation. He is the chairman of the Academic Advisory Council at the Foundation. Prof. Kirchdörfer has been an honorary professor at Witten/Herdecke University since October 2005. After studying jurisprudence at Tübingen University, he was an assistant at the department run by Prof. Dr Dr hc Wernhard Möschel, also at Tübingen University, from 1983 to 1985.
