Magdalena Wendt has been working as a research assistant at the WIFU Endowed Chair of Organisation and Development of Business Families and the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy III at Witten/Herdecke University since November 2023. She is doing her doctorate in the cooperative project “Mental Health in Business Families”, in which both chairs are involved. Magdalena Wendt is a clinical psychologist (M.Sc.), internationally certified mediator and also works as a counsellor for family businesses and business families. As part of her academic training, she completed a degree in psychology (M.Sc.) with a clinical focus at the University of Witten/Herdecke and focused on family businesses in her master’s degree in ethics and organisation (M.A.). By organising the 23rd Congress for Family Businesses and working for two and a half years as a student assistant in event management at the WIFU Foundation, she was able to further deepen her knowledge of family businesses and business families. Alongside her studies, she acquired certificates in systemic constellation work and biography work.
