Scholarship holder of the WIFU Foundation
Muhammad Anwar has been a PhD scholar at the Witten Institute for Family Business at Witten/Herdecke University since December 2020, conducting research on the topic ‘Business Model Innovation in Family Firms’. In addition to his academic awards, he has also contributed to national and international research projects and published several research articles in peer-reviewed journals. His research areas of interest are business model innovation, SME internationalisation, family businesses and sustainability practices. Mr Anwar received his Master of Management Sciences at the International Islamic University Islamabad, Pakistan, where he worked on a project titled ‘Role of Entrepreneurial Orientation, Generic Competitive Strategy in Emerging SMEs’. Prior to that, he completed the business studies programme at the Institute of Management Sciences in Peshawar.
