Prof. Kormann has been a lecturer at the University of Leipzig since 1999 and holds honorary professorships in Leipzig, Friedrichshafen, Beijing Institute of Technology. After his habilitation in 2017, he was appointed Apl. Professor by Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, in 2020.
He worked in industry for four decades, most recently for two decades as managing director and chairman of the family-owned company VOITH. He held mandates in numerous supervisory bodies of family businesses.
