Dr Simon Caspary has been supporting the WIFU Foundation as a Senior Research Fellow since December 2023. He supports and advises family businesses and their families in organisational development projects with a focus on strategy, structure and culture, process optimisation and efficiency improvement as well as succession processes. Simon Caspary completed his PhD at the Department of Sociology and Empirical Social Research at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) in 2017. His publications deal with the socialisation of offspring from entrepreneurial families and cultural development in entrepreneurial families. He previously studied economics – management science – at WU Vienna. He himself grew up in the third generation of a family business.
